Wild Echinacea — Original Watercolor Painting, 14 × 10 inches
I created this original watercolor painting over the Fourth of July holiday, inspired by the scripture, “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray…” (2 Chronicles 7:14). As I painted, I reflected on themes of humility, renewal, and hope for healing.
They aren't red, white, and blue, but I think coneflowers look like fireworks—and like the American spirit, these beauties are tough as nails! I hope this piece brings a sense of hope, resilience, and joy to a space.
Blessings,
Sierra R. Phillips
